Gale's Women's History Site
On this site, created by the Thompson Gale Publishing company, you will find a collection of activities and information, including biographies of women who have made significant contributions to our country and culture, a timeline of events in women's history, and several quizzes to test your knowledge on the subject of women's history.

National Women's Hall of Fame
This is the official site for the National Women's Hall of Fame, a place dedicated to honoring women who have contributed significantly to the development of our country. It serves as a shrine to some of the greatest women in the history of this country and a tribute that grows annually with each induction ceremony as we learn to appreciate more about the wonderful contributions that women make to our civilization.

Gifts of Speech
This searchable index, originated by a librarian at Sweet Briar College in Virginia, contains the full text of numerous speeches by prominent women from around the world.

Military Women Veterans
Retired Air Force Captain Barbara Wilson created this site, which details the history of American women in the military - from the Revolutionary War to the present. It also contains information about women in military academies, female prisoners of war, and women who have been killed in action, as well as links to other sites with news and information about women in the military.

Famous Ancient Women
Here you'll find biographical and other pertinent information on thirty one women, one for each day of the month of March, whose accomplishments or reputations (both the bad and the good) have survived from antiquity to now, including Artemisia, Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Hatshepsut.
