The Love of China School of Chinese Dance
A dance school that gives young people the opportunity of learning traditional Chinese dances. Through learning Chinese folk dance, young people grow in determination and confidence, connect deeply with Chinese heritage, and become part of unforgettable experiences.

Founder and teacher Emily Dedear began teaching Chinese dance in Austin in 1992, and officially founded The Love of China School of Chinese Dance in August of 1999.

This concert series is funded in part by the City of Austin under the auspices of the Austin Arts Commission and the Texas Commission on the Arts. All programs are free and the public is invited to attend.
