Helping Kids Cope

    An article that deals with how to talk to you kids with age appropriate strategies.
  • Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
    Regardless of the type of natural disaster, if it happens in the United States, FEMA will be there. That is because it is the federal agency that is tasked with responding to, planning for, recovering from, and mitigating against distasters.
  • FEMA for Kids
    This site teaches you how to be prepared for disasters and prevent disaster damage. You can also learn what causes, disasters, play games, read stories and become a Disaster Action Kid. See hurricane page.
  • What You Might Feel in a Disaster
    Disasters can happen. They often happen quickly and without warning, and they can be scary for you and your parents. This site has a list of six things to remember during a disaster.
